I’ve got two months left on this project, and honestly, I’ve lost motivation with this craft. I lug around my camerabag with me all the time, but I don’t shoot anything, usually. I look through gigabytes and gigabytes of things I’ve shot recently, and all of it just feels like junk. like dust. I feel like I’ve been sliding downhill.

Maybe it’s all the house paint I’ve been exposing myself to. It’s like all that drive and energy I used to have shriveled up, and whatever remained moved to painting or something.

I don’t know.

I guess I’ll continue this project though. Only 2 months left.

And if you were wondering, just because I haven’t posted in forever doesn’t mean I haven’t shot.

This is supposed to be my bedroom, but it’s not, because there’s no bed. The old lady who gave me most of the furniture when she moved away to California five years ago moved BACK to Georgia last August. And as a result, the bed, the dresser, and two nightstands were promptly moved out of my room and the contents were basically placed on my bedroom floor. The clothes were eventually moved to a closet in the hallway, but everything else is still sitting there on the floor, because I haven’t had time to move any of it. I’ve been sleeping in the guest room ever since the school year began.

Then my parents decided to be REAL KEWL and try moving two chairs and a small table into my room where my bed used to be, and that’s the table right there. It’s covered with all this stuff so I can somewhat walk around.

And the sad thing is, I don’t think it’ll ever be cleaned. Even after I graduate and move off to college.

I’m tired of this infinitly long to-do list that now defines my life. I just want a break, when nothing gets added to mentioned list so I can actually knock off some items.

Like moving out of the guest room.

Momocon, and tech fair is on saturday, and everything is due next week, so don’t expect anything anytime soon.

I finished the roll from Tuesday in the Action sampler (the four lensed one on the right). And instead of sending it for processing, I went into the school darkroom, took the film out of the camera, and moved it into the silver fat camera on the right.

I finished that book last night for a Language Arts paper. It’s one of the more interesting books I’ve read for school. Highly recommend it (to high schools students and older.)

The interface is a little different than the ol’ Olympus Ultrazoom, or even Vivi’s Rebel, but I shot (instead of hmm..reading The Color Purple for Language Arts) with it for a good half hour or so today, and it’s nothing I can’t get used to. I’m so exciteddddd!!

So. You guys get three pictures, instead of the usual lone photo. Enjoy; I don’t think I’ll have time to upload multiple shots ever again. -cry!-

Well, I finished the roll in the lomolito yesterday! Sending the film to Snapfish for development, so the roll should be back by around what, next week?

I’ve survived one month! And I haven’t been absurdly behind on my posting, unlike some people out there I know. Yes, that was a clue to UPDATE before the workload drowns you, fools.

New goal: to write meaningful things alongside my pictures? But the thing is, the thoughts running through my head are usually unrelated to the image of the day…Maybe I’ll write backstories of the images, so by the end of 2009, you stalkers that don’t know me from real life will know way more than you ever needed to know about my year.

Today was rainy. It started out as a really bad day. I lost my camera, and found it by 3rd period. And I forgot the locker combo too.

Then I started peeling paint from Vivian’s palette. And I got the accidently-monochromed-cross-processed film roll from yesterday redone with the proper lomo crack colors.

And life was good again.

It’s a hardcore stapler. Doesn’t it look menacing?

Yeah I don’t even have a good story behind it. -sigh!-

But it does remind me of the extreme perspective I had to draw in 6th period, where the only part of the model’s face I could see was his nostrils. And I was tempeted to add details to only the soles of the model’s shoes. It was great.
